Last updated: 6 May 2026
1. Who we are
Ballrz is operated by BALLRZ LTD.
Company name: BALLRZ LTD
Company number: 16802068
Registered office: 2 Frederick Street, Kings Cross, London, United Kingdom, WC1X 0ND
Contact: gdpr@ballrz.co.uk
In these Terms, “Ballrz”, “we”, “us” and “our” means BALLRZ LTD.
2. What these Terms cover
These Terms apply when you access or use Ballrz, including our website, club directory, accounts, role-based features, club pages, team opportunities, player-related posts, child-related search tools, friendly requests, tournament posts, marketplace listings, enquiries, messaging features and any related services.
By using Ballrz, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Ballrz.
3. What Ballrz is
Ballrz helps people find local grassroots football through controlled contact.
It helps families, coaches, clubs, club officials, players aged 16 and over where available, sellers and football-related businesses find relevant local football clubs, teams, posts, marketplace listings, team opportunities and enquiries.
Ballrz is built around local search. Search results, listings, posts, team opportunities and other football activity may be shown by location, postcode, radius, role, age group, category, relevance and other product rules.
4. What Ballrz is not
Ballrz is not:
- A social network.
- A public contact directory.
- A player ranking platform.
- A talent scouting platform.
- A club management system.
- A safeguarding authority.
- A legal, medical or professional advice service.
- A payment protection service.
- A guarantee that any club, coach, seller, team, event, listing, post or user is suitable, safe, available, accurate or legitimate.
Ballrz helps users find and contact relevant football people, clubs and organisations in a more structured way. It does not replace parental judgement, club checks, safeguarding procedures, league rules, FA rules, County FA processes, welfare checks or direct due diligence.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Parent, Coach, Club Official or Seller account.
Player 16+ features, where available, are only for users aged 16 or over.
Children under 16 must not create their own Ballrz account. Child-related search must be managed by a parent or guardian.
By using Ballrz, you confirm that:
- You are old enough to use the relevant account type.
- The information you provide is accurate.
- You will keep your login details secure.
- You will use Ballrz only for lawful football-related purposes.
- You will not misuse the platform or another person's information.
6. Accounts
You may need an account to use certain Ballrz features.
You are responsible for all activity on your account unless that activity was caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
You must not:
- Create an account using false details.
- Pretend to be someone else.
- Create multiple accounts to bypass limits, moderation, restrictions or enforcement.
- Share your login details with another person.
- Use another person's account.
- Use Ballrz if we have suspended or banned you.
- Attempt to access features, data or areas that you are not authorised to use.
You must tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may suspend, restrict or close accounts where we reasonably believe there has been misuse, false information, risk to users, breach of these Terms, fraud, spam, safeguarding concern, legal risk or conduct that may harm Ballrz, users, clubs, children or the platform.
7. Roles on Ballrz
Ballrz uses roles so users can access features that match how they use the platform.
Roles may include:
- Parent or guardian.
- Coach.
- Club Official.
- Seller.
- Player 16+, where available.
Having an account does not automatically mean you are approved to act for a club, coach under a claimed club, manage a club page, create certain listings, contact users or use every feature.
Some features depend on role status, email verification, club approval, active cards, active listings, live posts, enquiries, moderation status or other product checks.
We may change, add, remove, suspend or restrict roles and role features as Ballrz develops.
8. Parents and guardians
Parent and guardian features are designed to help adults find local football options for a child.
Parents and guardians are responsible for:
- The child-related information they add.
- Making sure information is accurate and appropriate.
- Deciding whether a club, coach, team or listing is suitable.
- Checking relevant club, coach, league, FA, County FA, safeguarding and welfare information before a child attends any activity.
- Managing child-related contact responsibly.
- Using Ballrz in a way that protects the child's privacy and welfare.
You must not post unnecessary child personal information on Ballrz.
You must not post or send:
- Full child names where not needed.
- Home addresses.
- School details.
- Medical information unless genuinely necessary and appropriate.
- Sensitive safeguarding information in ordinary messages.
- Identity documents.
- Photos of children unless the feature specifically allows it and proper permission is in place.
- Anything that could put a child at unnecessary risk.
Ballrz may remove, restrict, edit or review content that creates a privacy, safeguarding or safety risk.
9. Players aged 16 and over
Player 16+ features, where available, are designed only for users aged 16 or over.
If you use a Player 16+ feature, you must use it honestly, safely and only for relevant football purposes.
You must not:
- Use Player 16+ features if you are under 16.
- Pretend to be another player.
- Post misleading information about your age, location, club, team, playing level or availability.
- Use player features to spam coaches, clubs or other users.
- Share unnecessary personal information.
- Use the platform for unsafe, abusive, exploitative or unlawful contact.
Ballrz may remove, restrict or suspend Player 16+ access where we reasonably believe the feature is being misused or creates a safety, privacy or safeguarding risk.
10. Coaches
Coach features are designed to help coaches create team profiles, post team needs, search relevant local player interest, arrange friendlies and manage football-related enquiries.
If you use Ballrz as a coach, you confirm that:
- Your coach information is accurate.
- You have the right to represent the team information you post.
- You will not mislead users about your club, team, role, qualifications, approvals, affiliation or authority.
- You will follow applicable club, league, FA, County FA, safeguarding and welfare rules.
- You will only contact users for proper football-related reasons.
- You will not use Ballrz to bypass parents, guardians, clubs, safeguarding controls or role permissions.
- You will keep team opportunities and friendly requests accurate and up to date.
Where your team is linked to a claimed club, your ability to act for that club may depend on approval by the relevant club official.
We may suspend or restrict coach features if we believe the coach account, team information, club link, team opportunity content, enquiry activity or messaging creates a risk.
11. Club officials
Club Official features are designed to help authorised representatives claim and manage club pages, update club details, manage coach links and handle enquiries.
If you use Ballrz as a club official, you confirm that:
- You are authorised to act for the club.
- The information you provide is accurate.
- You will keep club details up to date.
- You will only approve coaches who should be linked to the club.
- You will remove or update coach links when they are no longer accurate.
- You will not claim, manage or edit a club without authority.
- You will not use a club page to mislead users.
- You will handle enquiries responsibly and in line with applicable safeguarding and welfare expectations.
We may ask for information to support a club claim or role approval.
We may approve, reject, suspend or remove club authority where we reasonably believe it is incorrect, disputed, risky, unsupported, outdated or no longer appropriate.
Club pages may include information from public sources, user submissions, club official updates or other football-related sources. If you believe club information is inaccurate, contact us.
12. Sellers and football-related businesses
Seller and listing features are designed for football-related goods, services, events or businesses.
If you create a seller profile or listing, you confirm that:
- Your listing is accurate.
- You have the right to sell, promote or provide what you list.
- Your listing is football-related.
- Your pricing, availability and description are clear and not misleading.
- You will comply with applicable consumer, trading, tax, advertising and safety laws.
- You will not post false offers, fake availability, misleading claims or prohibited items.
- You are responsible for the goods, services, events or offers you provide.
Unless we expressly say otherwise in writing, Ballrz is not responsible for seller transactions, fulfilment, refunds, delivery, warranties, cancellations, consumer disputes or promises made by sellers.
We may remove, restrict or reject listings that are irrelevant, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, spammy, inappropriate, wrongly categorised or unsuitable for Ballrz.
If a seller repeatedly or seriously misuses Ballrz, we may suspend or remove seller access, listing access, messaging access or wider account access.
13. Marketplace and listings
Ballrz may allow users to browse or create marketplace listings.
Listings must be relevant to football and appropriate for the platform.
You must not list:
- Illegal goods or services.
- Weapons.
- Alcohol, tobacco, vapes or controlled substances.
- Adult content or services.
- Counterfeit goods.
- Stolen goods.
- Unsafe products.
- Financial products.
- Gambling.
- Anything that exploits, targets or endangers children.
- Anything that is misleading, discriminatory, abusive or unlawful.
- Anything we reasonably consider unsuitable for Ballrz.
We may change listing categories, listing rules, visibility, moderation rules, access rules and marketplace limits at any time.
14. Correct use of posts, cards and listings
Ballrz uses different post types, cards and listings for different football-related purposes.
You must use each post type only for its intended purpose.
For example:
- A player or team-needs post must be used for genuine player or team recruitment activity.
- A tournament post must be used for a genuine tournament, competition or football event.
- A friendly request must be used for arranging a genuine football friendly.
- A club enquiry must be used to contact a club about a relevant club matter.
- A seller listing must be used for genuine football-related goods, services, events or business activity.
- A marketplace listing must be relevant to football and placed in the correct category.
- A coach post must be used for genuine coach or team activity.
- A club post must be used for genuine club activity.
You must not use one post type to promote something unrelated, avoid platform rules, bypass contact controls, spam users, advertise unrelated services, collect personal data, or mislead users about the purpose of the post.
You are responsible for making sure your posts, cards, enquiries and listings are accurate, relevant, lawful and kept up to date.
User content must match the feature, post type, category or context in which it is submitted.
We may remove, edit, restrict, hide or reclassify any post, card, enquiry or listing if we reasonably believe it is inaccurate, irrelevant, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, in the wrong category, used for the wrong purpose, or unsuitable for Ballrz.
We may suspend or remove seller access, posting access, messaging access or account access if a user repeatedly or seriously misuses Ballrz.
15. Reports and moderation
Ballrz may provide report buttons or reporting tools on cards, posts, listings, enquiries, profiles, club pages or messages.
Users can report content or behaviour they believe is inaccurate, misleading, unsafe, abusive, spam, unlawful, in the wrong category, used for the wrong purpose, or otherwise unsuitable for Ballrz.
We may review reported content and take action where we consider it appropriate.
This may include:
- Taking no action.
- Asking the user to correct the content.
- Editing, hiding or removing content.
- Moving content to a more suitable category.
- Restricting contact or messaging.
- Suspending posting access.
- Suspending seller access.
- Suspending or closing an account.
- Preserving information where needed for safety, safeguarding, legal, fraud-prevention or dispute reasons.
- Reporting content or behaviour to a club, authority, regulator or law enforcement body where lawful and necessary.
We do not guarantee that every report will result in action. We may consider the context, evidence, seriousness, user history, risk to others and platform rules before deciding what to do.
Users must not abuse reporting tools. False, malicious, repeated or bad-faith reports may lead to account restrictions.
16. Contact, enquiries and messages
Ballrz is not an open messaging platform.
Contact should start from a relevant football context, such as:
- A club page.
- A team opportunity.
- A player or team-needs post.
- A Looking for Team.
- A friendly request.
- A tournament post.
- A marketplace listing.
- A club enquiry.
- A seller enquiry.

- Collect personal information without a proper reason.
- Bypass safeguarding, club, parent or platform controls.
Ballrz may monitor, review, restrict, remove or disclose messages where needed to operate the service, investigate reports, protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with the law or handle safety and safeguarding concerns.
17. Safeguarding and welfare
Ballrz is designed to support more controlled football search, but it is not a safeguarding authority.
Clubs, coaches, parents, guardians and users remain responsible for following applicable safeguarding, welfare, league, club, County FA and FA rules.
If there is an immediate risk of harm, contact emergency services.
If you have a safeguarding concern, you should contact the relevant club welfare officer, league, County FA, national FA, statutory authority or police as appropriate.
You may also report concerns to Ballrz where they relate to use of the platform.
Where necessary and lawful, we may review content, restrict accounts, preserve information, disclose relevant information, or take other action to protect users, children, clubs and the platform.
18. User content
“User content” means anything you add, post, upload, send or submit to Ballrz.
This includes club information, team details, player posts, team-needs posts, tournament posts, friendly requests, listings, messages, enquiries, descriptions, profile information, images, comments, documents, claim information and any other content submitted through Ballrz.

- Not abusive.
- Not discriminatory.
- Not infringing anyone else's rights.
- Not exposing unnecessary personal or child information.

You keep ownership of your user content, but you give Ballrz permission to use it to operate, display, moderate, secure, improve and provide the platform.
This permission is worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free and lasts for as long as needed to provide Ballrz, manage records, protect users, comply with the law, resolve disputes, operate backups and maintain platform integrity.
We may remove, edit, restrict, refuse or preserve user content where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms, creates risk, is inaccurate, is unlawful, is in the wrong category, is being used for the wrong purpose, or is otherwise unsuitable for Ballrz.
19. Accuracy of information

If you use Ballrz, you must respect the privacy of other users. You must not collect, copy, misuse, expose or share personal information from the platform without a proper lawful reason.
The detailed GDPR and PECR information is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out of marketing emails where required. You may still receive service messages that are needed to provide Ballrz.
For individual subscribers, electronic marketing is subject to PECR rules. The ICO guidance says unsolicited electronic marketing generally needs consent or a valid soft opt-in where the requirements are met.
23. Third-party links and services
Ballrz may link to third-party websites, clubs, leagues, sellers, payment providers, map providers, social platforms or external services.
We are not responsible for third-party websites or services.
If you use a third-party service, its own terms, privacy policy and rules may apply.
You should check those terms before using the third-party service.

Unless we expressly say otherwise in writing, Ballrz is not responsible for third-party payments, refunds, delivery, fulfilment, disputes, chargebacks, warranties or services.
If Ballrz processes payments in future, additional payment terms may apply.
25. Offers, promotions and advertising
Ballrz may show Ballrz-related offers, updates, promoted listings, sponsored placements or advertising in future.
Where we do this, we will aim to make the nature of the content clear.
Users and sellers must not create misleading promotions, fake discounts, false scarcity, inaccurate pricing or unlawful advertising.

31. Availability and technical issues
We aim to keep Ballrz available and working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The platform may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, bugs, hosting issues, third-party services, security issues or events outside our control.
We are not responsible for losses caused by temporary unavailability unless the law says otherwise.
32. Our responsibility to you
We provide Ballrz with reasonable care and skill.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

33. Your responsibility to us
You may be responsible for losses we suffer if you misuse Ballrz, breach these Terms, infringe someone else's rights, submit unlawful content, misuse personal data, misuse post types, misuse reports, or cause legal claims against us through your actions.
This does not affect rights you may have as a consumer under UK law.
34. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unfair, invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will continue to apply where lawful.

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.
This may include internet failures, hosting failures, cyber incidents, third-party service disruption, legal changes, strikes, severe weather, public emergencies or other events we could not reasonably prevent.
